NXTGEN Automotive’s Cross Terrain removable stirrup steps for JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator are the finest available step solution for factory rock slider rails. They are made in the USA using the same premium quality steel as the OEM rails they attach to, and feature a very durable coating to match the aesthetic of the factory rail. With just a few simple screws, our patent pending system allows you to quickly and easily regain full clearance for off-road use. They are available in sets of 2 or 4 and can be positioned anywhere you desire along the entire factory rock rail.
Useful, but not in the way
Owners, spouses, relatives, children or friends; we all have someone in our lives who could use help getting in and out of our Jeeps. At NXTGEN Automotive, we are Jeep people and we solely make these step products for the Wrangler and Gladiator platform. As such, we understand the needs of Jeep-specific owners who will use this type of product for both daily driving and off-road use. We were meticulous in our design process to create a step that is highly-useable for those who need it, yet out of the way for those that don’t. Despite being 5.5 inches deep, our steps only stick out 3.25 inches from the face of the factory rail. The simple fact is, not everyone needs a step. Those who need a step benefit most from a lower hanging design below the rail, especially on lifted vehicles. For individuals that don’t require a step, a solution that is not an obstacle to entry and exit, or rubbing dirt on them is also likely appreciated.

Full step assembly for daily driving or light off-road use with reduced clearance of about 4.5 inches.
By simply removing 2 screws per side with the included tool, you can regain full factory clearance for moderate off-road use with our patent pending clamps.
For extreme off-roading where your rails will make hard contact with rocks, you can remove the clamps, as well.
