Owners, spouses, relatives, children or friends; we all have someone in our lives who could use help getting in and out of our Jeeps. At NXTGEN Automotive, we are Jeep people and we solely make these step products for the Wrangler and Gladiator platform. As such, we understand the needs of Jeep-specific owners who will use this type of product for both daily driving and off-road use. We were meticulous in our design process to create a step that is highly-useable for those who need it, yet out of the way for those that don’t. Despite being 5.5 inches deep, our steps only stick out 3.25 inches from the face of the factory rail. The simple fact is, not everyone needs a step. Those who need a step benefit most from a lower hanging design below the rail, especially on lifted vehicles. For individuals that don’t require a step, a solution that is not an obstacle to entry and exit, or rubbing dirt on them is also likely appreciated.
